LEGO CAMP
Is your child a young engineer? Do they enjoy spending hours building with Lego and K'nex pieces? If so, then sign them up today for Lego Camp. Campers will use their creative imagination and build skyscrapers, vehicles, and other gadgets, using different Lego building supplies. Each day campers will be challenged with new architecture design opportunities. Camper exhibits available for parental viewing at the end of each day, providing young designers an opportunity to show off their creations. Building supplies will change daily, but will feature Legos, K'nex & wooden blocks. What a fun way to use imagination and creativity!
ARTS AND CRAFTS GALORE
Let your child’s artistic imagination soar! We have designed this camp to not only create fine art, but to be an educational experience as well. Our itinerary is sure to please even our quietest artists. We will learn different drawing techniques, use sand art, make sand jewelry, design picture frames, do tie-dye, paint sun catchers, and use many other forms of art media. The campers will be designing and creating different projects every day!. We try very hard to stay as clean as possible, but each day we will be working with a variety of materials that could stain our clothes. We ask that you please wear clothes that are allowed to get messy.
NATURES DISCOVERY CAMP
Discover the beauty, fun and educational value of nature here in Vernal Utah. Camp is filled with learning opportunities, as your child searches for wildlife, including mammals, insects, amphibians, birds and fish. They will discover the art of tracking and will also use nets to catch butterflies and fish. Explore the GREAT outdoors and the wonders of nature, while enjoying tons of hands on experience. We will have some exciting guest presenters, including representatives from Scales and Tails Utah. We will get to meet and touch a 10 ft snake, 85 lb tortoise, 5ft lizard and spiders and scorpions! Each day the camp will highlight one classification of animals with a story & craft.
BARBIE CAMP
Build a beautiful Barbie Townhouse and have tons of playtime fun with all of your friends at Barbie Camp. Campers will bring their own dolls, and we will supply the rest. From clothes to shoes, cars to planes, our Barbie's are going to play in style. We will have a fashion show, fly to a tropical destination on our very own Barbie jet, and swim in our very own Barbie pool. Our Barbie's will explore, discover and dazzle. We will create wonderful crafts that will include, but are not limited to; designing new Barbie clothes, Barbie jewelry for camper and doll, and much more. Snacks include everything "pink" - from pink popsicles to pink sprinkled cookies. At Barbie Camp every child is a star!! We will have a great time exploring the wonderful world of Barbie. PIRATE CAMP
Arrr-matey! It’s out to sea we go! Attention all scalliwags and explorers: Is your child interested in sailing the seven seas, swinging on a rope, dropping into the sea, and building their own pirate ship? What about using a compass and solving the clues to find the map which leads to the buried treasure? These are just a few of the adventures every sailor will experience, after they sign their name to the list of crewmen and follow the Pirates Code. Conquer the seven seas and find the “X” which marks the spot of the VCD FLIPZ treasure. Our little pirates will have the use of navigational equipment like telescopes, compasses and binoculars. They will make their own map, design their own pirate’s flag and solve daily clues to narrow down their search and find the chest of gold. The pirates will have great fun!
WILD STALLIONS BOYS GYMNASTICS CAMP
Rope in your horses and join us for the 1^st Boy's Wild Stallions Camp! What a great way to let your son burn off some of that extra energy in a safe environment with tons of fun-time adventure. This camp is great for strength and flexibility development. The Boy's Wild Stallions Camp offers exposure to high bars, parallel bars, vault, floor, mushroom, trampoline and much, much more. Campers will work skills and develop skill appropriate routines. Gymnastics related games and fun filled activities to stimulate personal growth will be included in this class.
BUNNIES PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS CAMP
Children will use bars, beams, springboards and spring floors, just like the older gymnasts, only here the equipment is scaled down to their size. Specialty equipment like crayon beams, silly beams, preschool bars, preschool rings, along with many theme related props are designed to enhance the theme of each camp day. Bunnies Camp focuses on social development, as well as cognitive and gross motor skills development. Our experienced, safety certified staff play creative, educational games and provide a fun stimulating environment.
CHEERLEADING CAMP
One of the fastest growing sports in Uintah County and at VCD Flipz is cheerleading! Whether your child is already on a team, wants to prepare for community youth cheer, or is just interested in finding out what cheerleading is all about-experience Cheerleading Camp. Our cheerleaders will learn to perform cheer dances, chants, cheers, motion techniques, jumps and stunts. This camp is full of energy, teamwork and tons of fun. Music will be included and an end of the week choreography piece will be performed for parents. A cheer craft will be included every day at Cheerleading Camp. Crafts include megaphones, cheer picture frame and tie dying. Our Cheerleaders are eligible to cheer for football and basket ball in the fall.
PRINCESS CAMP
Has your daughter ever wondered about what it would be like to be a princess for a day? Well here at VCD FLipz she can be a princess for a day or for an entire week. Here your princess will be a princess in the land of make believe. Campers will enjoy time listening to princess stories, making princess crafts, eating princess snacks and learning how to be as polite as a princess and so much more. Dreams and imagination are truly magical and at Pretty Princess Camp we are going to bring out their very best in your little princess.
SCOOBY DOO MYSTERY CAMP
Campers will have a blast becoming characters and role playing scenes from the hit children’s comic, detective series “Scooby Doo.” Dressing up and imagining the personalities of Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, Fred and even Scooby, while solving many classic story line mysteries are just a few of the challenges that await. Campers will launch their crime-busting, spook-chasing talents using the VCD Flipz Own “Mystery Machine”. Our Scooby campers are guaranteed to have a new adventure everyday, along with crime fighting, mystery solving crafts. Story and movie time provided, along with plenty of "Scooby Snacks".

SUPER SCRAPBOOKING CAMP Does your child love to take pictures? Does your family have boxes of old pictures you don’t know what to do with? Give them to your child and send them to scrapbooking camp. Using tons of artistic creativity, at this camp they will take those pictures and create years of memories and keepsakes-great to keep or give as a gift! Campers will create their own page layouts on specialty papers and embellish them with designs, stickers and stamps. Learn how to crop pictures, write creative captions and use specialty scissors to provide cool designs and flair. Each camper will create their own padded album. Bring a bathing suit and towel for water activities on Friday.

COOKING CAMP
A pinch of this and a lot of that! Does your child like to spend time in the kitchen with you, helping you cook? If so, this camp is perfect for them. They will spend the week learning how to make easy, no bake meals with a hands-on opportunity to cook. Their creations will taste so good, it will satisfy everyone’s appetite. Foods include main dishes, appetizers and everyone’s favorite - desserts. All ingredients are provided and favorite recipes will be shared. All cooking campers will leave with their own cookbook at the end of camp, Complete with their favorite recipes - a great gift for you or anyone.
SPORTS CAMP
If your child likes to run and play-then let’s get back to basics-everyone’s favorite, classic toy-THE BALL. Working with each child’s own athletic coordination and gross motor skill development, our staff will introduce the campers to the dynamics of team and group sports. Focus will be on learning to work together for the success of the whole team. Some of the games featured will include basketball, volleyball, soccer, T-ball, baseball and flag football. Campers will pick team names, make sport buttons and team banners. Camp is guaranteed to increase the cardio exercise for each player.
DINOSAUR DIG CAMP
Go on a Jurassic Park adventure! Going back to prehistoric times, campers will learn amazing facts about all types of different dinosaurs Campers will learn and discover about five well-known dinosaurs, go on excavations, use actual fieldwork tools and techniques and get an insiders look at the world of paleontology. They will explore the prehistoric climate, land conditions, fossils, food source, and living conditions of these astonishing creatures.
SUPER HERO TRAINING CAMP
“To the Bat Mobile Robin and away!" Bring your camper to join the adventures with the Camp Kids staff, as they use their imagination to solve a new caper each day. Who took the chalk bucket? Who let all the air out of the bouncer? These are just a few of the crimes the campers will investigate as they piece together clues to find the villain. Imagination is a must, as role playing and thrilling adventure encompasses the camper’s experience. Super Heroes Camp is guaranteed to spark their ingenuity and provide exciting escapades!
GYMNASTICS CAMP
VCD Flipz offers a super “fun-tastic” gymnastics camp for the gymnast in everyone. Our staff will introduce new tricks, new fun and excitement—the excitement of feeling strong! The VCD Coaching Staff are safety certified and full of enthusiasm. They will help your child become a champion as they jump on the trampoline, twirl on the balance beam, tumble on the spring floor and swing on the bars. Our campers will be divided by age and ability.
WHEN I GROW UP CAMP
A doctor, a lawyer, a fire fighter? The possibilities are endless! Our campers will be exploring different careers by role playing, reading and meeting the people who have chosen their careers. Meet the police man who patrols your area, the fireman who puts out the fires and the dentist who works down the street. These are just a few examples of everyday people working the careers they love! What a great opportunity to let your child be creative while learning and exploring.
IMAGINATION STATION CAMP
Imagination Station Camp is all about role playing and using our imaginations. We will use our imaginations to pretend to be the characters we admire and love. Each day will be a new theme to help spark the campers’ imagination. With an educational focus on drama and acting, this camp provides children the ability to use their imagination, be creative, be dramatic and explore the personalities and worlds of different characters. Children will have the opportunity to draw scenery, create accessories and make their own characters. This camp is great for developing social skills and building creativity!
WILD CAMPING ADVENTURES CAMP
Grab the marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers, for campers will be making s'mores at the campfire. Campers will learn how to set-up a tent, build a fire, identify important supplies for camping, and have a real camp out. Where should we place our tent? What kinds of plants and animals should the campers be careful of? What are the best foods to cook on the campfire? Snacks will be cooked outside by the campfire. There will be loads of camp crafts perfect for the great outdoors. Come rain or shine we will have a plethora of projects for our campers. What a great way to explore the great outdoors!
IT’S A SMALL WORLD CAMP
In full spirit of international unity, It’s a Small World Camp exposes campers to children of the world. Come view the world through the wondrous eyes of a child and see all that we all have in common. Countries we will be exploring are Germany, Spain, Mexico, Italy, France and Ireland. Campers will have the opportunity to sample the amazing cuisine common in each country, learn about different cultural traditions and some basic language instruction. Set sail and enjoy different cultures far and wide.
JUST BEING A KID CAMP
Do you want your child to run, jump, laugh, play and just have fun? If you answered yes, then Just Being A Kid Camp is the camp for your child. This high energy camp is geared to wear your child out. Our jam packed itinerary is sure to tucker out the most enthusiastic child. Our itinerary will include inflatable bouncers, forts, trampolines, jumping in foam pits, dodge ball, jump rope, hula hoops and of course outside activities like sidewalk chalk, hiking, sports games and water adventures. Boy, can we pack a ton of fun into one week of camp at VCD Flipz!
TUMBLING CAMP
Is floor tumbling more of an interest to your child? Are they interested in improving their tumbling skills to try out for cheerleading? This camp provides a more flexible schedule and includes only floor skills. Tumblers are divided by skill and flexible levels to ensure training fits the needs of each student. Starting with forward rolls, handstands and cartwheels, athletes will progress to bridges, backbends and round-offs, and much more! Guaranteed to keep your child challenged and progressing. Cost: $65 per 5 week camp!
TUMBLING ADVANCED CAMP
Back handsprings anyone? Maybe a few tucks along the way? Our VCD Flipz 5 week tumbling camp will help teach the proper skills and drills for our intermediate and advanced campers. Children will be broken into groups based on their ability to ensure that proper skill progressions take place. We will begin with back handsprings and round-offs, then progress to round-off back handsprings, back tucks and front tumbling. These camps are guaranteed to keep your child challenged and progressing in a fun environment. Tumble camps always fill up, so don’t be left flipping by yourself - come flip with us! Prerequisites: cartwheel, round-off, handstand forward roll and back walkover. Cost: $65 per 5 week camp!
